I have an A/B/C machine and have upgraded to Designer 5 a few months back.   I am now trying to create new projects by making some new patterns.   Unfortunately, I can't seem to locate the Pattern Editor.    Does it still exist in Designed 5?

I believe they removed the pattern editor with designer 5, but brought it back (sort of as part of Sculptor 2), so if u have an original Sculptor license then you should be entitled to a Sculptor 2 license. With Sculptor 2 you can import what they refer to as Sculpt files .scp, .ptr (pattern), ,obj ,stl, .jpg , .png and .bmp.....then you could export to a new pattern file, stl or obj file.

Yeah I had to buy sculptor 2.   I am struggling to use it.   Cant find any help files or useful videos that go beyond the basics.

I also upgraded to Designer 5 recently and had the same confusion about the Pattern Editor. It seems like they changed a few things, which makes it harder to find features we were used to. I came across some useful discussions on <a class="decorated-link" href=" removed link " target="_new" rel="noopener" data-start="295" data-end="319"> removed link that gave me more clarity, so you might want to check there too. Hopefully, the updates will make pattern creation easier once we get used to the new setup.
