The message below, 

If you have purchased this software with a machine, please take a moment at your convenience to register with CarveWright so that you can activate this copy of the software and receive vital software updates. Prior to activation the software will operate in DEMO mode.
If you are evaluating this software package, it will operate for 30 days in DEMO mode. In DEMO mode all basic features and functions are available, EXCEPT the ability to compile and upload projects to the CarveWright woodworking machine.

I have 1.188 and 3.106 on my computer. Both launch ok, I can load previous projects, build new projects accessing both patterns I have added and the patterns that came with the program. Also able to use the texture feature. I don't have a disc with patterns, can't address that issue. Carvewright may no longer be supporting the versions but that doesn't stop them from working. It only means they will no longer provide updates or try to find a 'fix' for something a person finds that may not be working as expected. Like Microsoft no longer supports Windows 8 and is stopping Windows 10 support, they still work but no fixes and they don't respond to how or why questions.  My only thought would be if you are having software issues would be to save all your personal projects and patterns to a flash drive and reload the version you are having a problem with. If it's not working now you can't break it any worse.  Good luck

BUMMER!!! I must of been supported by one of them. When i want to do a project i couldn't use any of the built in patterns or textures. i also have one of those discs with 250 patterns and now most of them i cant open. I quit trying trying to do my project after that.
