how do I make raised spiral?

any thoughts on creating a raised spiral spiral?
I can cut away the excess on the right with a bandsaw, but I want the detail on the left to be seamless.

For reference if you ever have to sketch one up from scratch make the "golden" spiral" starting with a square- details attached.
