Speaking of a toilet, has anyone ever carved on a lid?

Hi Dan,

I recall Al's Potty Bear...
with a Bear pattern added to a Seat,
I'm sure with a Sled you could carve the Seat it's self

Dan,

Sounds like you opened up a new area for Al! Then again, maybe he already has that covered!

Yes, Pooh Bear did get a lot of giggles.... Sold the cut out bears made from cut off's on a sled.

With heavy bills and low cash flow, I believe I will need to sell one of my Laser Engravers and the Rotary Engraver. SO I don't have it so well.... The Economy has effected my business. I am too spread out and have too many irons in the fire.

Here again it goes to show two people with great talents such as yours are having hard times like the rest of us.
Wonder what will happen in the next several months let alone years.
Right now my carving projects are starting to kick off but my painting and repair remodel business is just about bankrupt.
good luck and hope things work out good for all.
William:rolleyes:

The only thing that I don't like about wood toilet seats is the risk of splinters!

Not trying to be too crass, but I saw this on a web page I visited.
Custom toilet seats just might sell at a craft show.

You should be more concerned with the lead, and removing of it!

Here are a few I did last fall with a sled. I use to do these by hand But now all I do is paint by hand.

LMK what ya think.
I also need a good bear pattern for my current one. I unfortanuly had to cut it by hand last fall and could not get the scan prob to work then. And It was sold. I really don't want to have to do it by hand again .I guess I'm spoiled.

Those are great, are they store bought seats that you actually fit in the machine?
