need help name sign

i am having problems getting my name that i want on the board come out the right size i want it to be 4 inches by 10 inches and it does it about 1 inch high by 3 inches long how do i fix this please help:confused:

you need to be sure and have an extra 7 inches on the board and make sure the board is wide enough. When you load the project into the machine, does it ask you if you want it to size the pattern to fit? If so, it is reducing it to make it fit the board.

Also...if the 7" extra of board doesn't solve your problem you might not have the latest software update...1.131, which can also cause this problem to occur.
