here are the finished product of the breadboards that i ask for some help with the pattern last week
i glued up pieces of walnut, cherry, maple and birdseye maple and alernated the glueups resulting in four boards.
i then made a sled and ran each board through one at the time and cut them into like patterns. then i cut some thin strips of walnut and maple to make up for the width of the cutting bit so glue up would match up.
then i mixed and matched the pieces to what i thought was most appealing and glued them back up. ran them through the planer and sander and put some breadboard oil on them and you can see the results.
thanks to all the people that help with initial imput and warned me of the downfall and gave me the time to use the walnut strips to make up for bit width. im happy with the results and i hope my sisters and sister-in-laws like the results
and comments welcome
thanks and happy holidays
