Since I can't get the 1/16" bit or the adapter at Carvewright or Sears, does anyone have a suggestion for what kind of bit I might use. I have a few Christmas projects that I need to finish and am without a paddle (and since the machine is down I can't carve one).

Please help --

I'm not following. Are you just needing the new 1/16" cutting bit? Or, is your machine broken? Send me a PM if you are needing the bit, or email jeff.birt.cw@gmail.com.

Not sure if your talking about the CARVING bit or cutting bit . Lowe's has the carving bit and adapter on there website for $28.98. Not sur if any stores are carrying these yet .
