I have started a thread going on this subject under Software.

I just bought Pattern Editor, and no, there is nothing available under HELP.

Tips and Tricks #10 and #11 are exceptionally helpful BUT they are not totally up to date on the software that is now being sold. You will find answers to some of the questions you ask-- like magic wand.

The software right now also does not support tool strength on the tools such as blur, even though the menu is there. Only one strength of tool is available---full tilt. In the case of the blur tool, it is like hitting a candle with a blowtorch. The excellent T & T 10/11 suggest a lot of subtle things to do with the tool strength, but they don't exist in this version.
