I have a customer who has chosen this font for a sign for there church. After I brought it up in designer ,this is what it looks like. Maybe the font maker was going for a hand carved look or something, but this looks afull for a church sign. But they like the style of letter just without the curves and wewaues.
Does anyone know of a font real similar to this without all the defects? I have Windows.
I looked at Tempus Sans ITC which is close ,but they really like papyrus
What the sign is going to say is "This do in rememberance of me" .
Thanks for any help on this. later Daniel

try this "Palatino Linotype"
It looks close in designer. I don't know what it will be like with centerline.

I have papyrus and it is not like your version. See if this will work for you?

Just a suggestion. How about taking a scrap peice of wood, doing some font carvings with different fonts in the different styles (raster, outline, centerline) and then let them see what they will be getting. Then they can make better informed decision.

The Palatino Linotype letters are a little thick for the space allowed. The area for the letters is going to be 3x49. Thanks for the input
