We're always watching, and yes, we take notice when our customer speak. Is this seriously something you guys would be interested in? Because I'm sure our marketing department is listening right now. I'm just saying, when 1.130 came out everyone wanted multiple cut paths back... and we saw how that went :D

that is a good idea . with the t-shert and swet sherts

brady.schwyhart
11-11-2008, 09:36 AM
I'm totally serious about it too! Think of all the free advertising. Someone sees the shirt, asks "whats a carvewright" and we go into it from there. The potential for future sales just from that alone could be a marketing dream. I convinced my last unit (I'm retired from the Army now) to purchase one just by making one project and having a buddy give it to the Battalion Sergeant Major. He took one look at it and told the supply folks to buy it. A neighbor came over to watch me do a demo for him and make a project for his office and now he's saving up for one. And thats just from hands on word of mouth with folks I know. The shirts and hats would have total strangers asking about the machines. Plus, they'd look really cool too, ha ha. All jokes aside, a lot of products have thier own line of clothing and accesories, Coke, Pepsi, Nascar, Craftsman, etc. Why not get in on it. A Carvewright ball cap would be in direct competition with my stetson for headgear to wear out and about.
Brady

HelpBot3000
11-11-2008, 10:09 AM
Wow, if you are willing to put down the stetson to show off a CarveWright hat that says something! Its funny you mentioned NASCAR. Honestly, I know some people here that would drool at the idea of being on a NASCAR vehicle. I'm going to just mention this thread to a couple of people that I think may be interested in the reaction we have here to the idea. You, my friends, are the flint and tinder. I'll try to get the fire burning! :-D

They do a lot of work for Fire and Police Departments around here along with Schools, Sports Teams, and Commercial accounts.
It's Fun to watch their 4, 6, and 8 station machines running, talk about a blur of activity. Almost as fun as my carver.

Anyway here's a few more

welcome to the great U. S. A. where a simple request for a simple tee shirt has turned into a complete line of clothing. only in the usa can someone take somebody's off the cuff idea and turn it into a profitable business venture.

i would be more that happy to wear the shirts and tee shirts but i dont know if im ready to drop my pants to show off my carvaholic boxers lol.

thanks for all the great replies and ideas. if we want to keep this machine available we happy owners need to tell all about it.

there is another thread from jeff about the negative post that carvewright has be getting. its time for some of up happy owners to step up on the peach crate and do a little sermon on the advantages over the disadvantages
(come to think of it what are the disadvantages).

only disadvantages is im not 20 yrs younger and more computer literate to be a pattern designer like some of you are. second is i have a full time job that i work at 55 hrs a week so i dont get to spend the time in my shop making the cw sing .

i have 15 yrs to retirement and all i hope for is the cw is still around when i hang up my real job for a job that i really love to do. only thing more amazing to me that putting a piece of plain lumber in the carver and bringing out something that when you show it of people give you that " i cant believe you made this" look was the birth of my kids.

nuff said tonight

time to jump on board and let the happy users have a voice and not listen to the whiners. i respect the forum moderators for letting everyone post here
they could just delete all the negative threads but they listen to everybody.

well happy carving all

kendall

p.s. i wish i would of copywrighted the word carvaholic i could of made a bundle on the use of the work lol
