How do you change the cut depth when using centerline text?

you can not change the it is set in designer you can use a 60 degree bit for deeper cut or 90 for shalower one

every time i cut with the 90 it leaves a hump in the middle of the letter

Randy,
We have not heard from you in quite awhile! I think that you and I joined here at about the same time.
It sounds as though you are doing large text. There are bits for that (not LHR) that have a "flat" at the end rather than a "Point" in order to clean out the bottom. The downside is that the corners will not be sharp.
In order to get it both-ways, you are going to have to do some hand-carving I believe. Maybe others have another solution.

The size of the text and hold bold it is determines cut depth too.

Thanks Ken!! Yeh, I havent been around for awhile. Between wood signs and vinyl signs, I dont know which one keeps me busier!!
