Hi,
Is there a "here's what you do after your machine sits for a year" guide?
First it was "Y stall", then "Z stall" we cleaned the machine well after every use and before it went to "store" mode.
Can you help me out with what to do to correct the axis problems?
I've read all over the forum and FAQ. I can't find anything to help.
Let me know what I need to let YOU know so maybe we can fix this thing?

Thanks in advance!

Also, check that everything is lubed properly. Particularly the flexshaft and the 4 corner posts. Check the QC and any other metal parts for rust during storage.

I would also run it through a complete sensor check just to be sure all the physical things are OK. You know, rollers compress and release, cover switches, truck coordinates......etc.etc.

Then I'd run a real small easy carve just to watch it and make sure it all looks good.

Excellent suggestions, Chris. Thank you for mentioning that!

Is the machine/shop at least 55F? A cold machine is a cranky machine.

Good point, Rob. A lot of folks still don't realize that the environment for the machine needs to be "comfortable".

With the cold weather coming up, we'll likely hear about a few "self-induced problems" that could have easily been avoided if users were aware of the temperature requirements for the machine.
