Love the 3D ship models, what program was used to create them?

Thanks, my Star trek work is looking a little dated like me now.

But for the shows we used Lightwave 3D, it is the primary software for broadcast shows like Voyager, DS9, Enterprise, battlestar, stargate and more.

Lightwave can also build a cool solid surface objects like a violin or guitar it was even was used to design a $70,00.00 custom chopper last year.

Not to promote software in general but lightwave is on a list of its own.

I've dabbled in everything from the free programs

Blender, Wings 3D, etc

to the less expensive

Bryce, Poser

And tried the demos of

3D Max, Maya

But never got around to Lightwave. I currently have Vue6 Infinite which I really like with it's spectral atmosheres and ecosystems, radiosity, etc. Unfortunately it's missing the particle system and physics engine. But for $700.00 it's not bad.

You mentioned Battlestar. Do you have any Battlestars of stl meshes of the Battlestar Galatica or Prometheus?
