IkeIke, thanks for all your work. Since you are using corel have you checked out any of Jeff Birt's tutorials. When i first started trying to get more of a 3d effect they really help me. Designing An Address Sign in CorelDraw had a lot about beveling edges and contureing. That tutorial came as video so you could follow along in another window which was great. When looking to see the name of the above i noticed another he has, CorelDraw Manual Digitising Tutorial more than likely just as good. Hope this helps.

Ike,
Here is the link to the corel draw tutorial.http://allcw.com/Tutorials.html. (http://allcw.com/Tutorials.html)

I think its worth the 10 dollars to learn how to do bevels etc..

Ok guys is this 3D? I appreciate all the tips, I retain more by trial and error. I am slowly getting this. Never will be as good as HT or Michael or James, but good enough for sharing!

Thanks John, I tried them, but can't figure out how to import a GIF file. With wings I did import an AI, but still couldn't do anything with it!

I will stick with Corel Draw X3 and see if I can figure it out with the tutorials from Jeff's site.

That's because .gif is a 2D image while those programs create 3D models....2 totally different species.
