Cover Open error

I received my machine the last of Aug or first of Sept. I get open cover error messages. The company has sent me a new top piece with new sensors.
This did not cure it. Then They sent me a new board where the near side sensor plugs in. This did not cure it. Today I replaced a FFC 14 pin cable they sent me. Still show the cover open.

I have called them today and left a voice mail.

Any suggestion outside of a four pound hammer.

While it stinks to have problems with a new machine, when you would rather be carving with it, you can at least take solace in knowing that CarveWright will stand behind the machine and get you going.

Since you have changed out the cover/switches and most of the associated wiring too, it would seem that perhaps the signal is getting lost between the connector board and the machines controller.

At this point I might suggest calling CW back and asking the technician about them bringing your machine in to their facility for them to repair. The round trip will take a few weeks but it will sure save a lot of frustration in the meantime.
