I have .75 wood and want to cut it out for a college logo.....do i set the cut depth ot .75 or more new to this

I would recommend using the cut feature and setting a cut depth of .25 if there are any turns that are sharp. It would help more if you uploaded your project or a photo of it.

Start with the Cut-Path option,it will set the depth
and bring up the Cut-out Control menu
fill in the setting you want, it will pick to 1/8" cutting bit for you
3--.25 cut should not strain your machine
