I have read postings about problems with the machine. So I wish to tell how happy I am with it.
Purchased in May 2008. No problems. Have carved about 31 projects.
My opinon on why it is so great. Jeff Birt article on care and maintenance in the Jan 2008 Tips and Tricks.
My experience: 31 years in US Navy submarine service. Then 17 years in private industry. Now retired at age 65. In all that time, I learned that the preventive maintence will keep things going strong.
I follow Jeff Brit's maintenance recommendations religiously. In addition, during a project carve, I will open the cover and completely vacuum machine about every 30 minutes, then continue project. As a result, no issues. Works fantastic.
I am also trying to creat my own patterns. Not very good yet. Wish I could find a source to help teach me.
