How do I do this?

I've got a piece of 1" clear acrylic, 3 5/16" x 4 3/4" and I would like to carve a rabbit on it. I know I will have to use a sled, which I have, but how do I set up designer so it will let me carve on a small piece and then how do I fool the machine into letting me do the same?

I've never carved on a small object before.

I went surfing through old threads and found my answer. I just need to make a new sled, one with sides a bunch lower than my scanning sled and 'stick' my acrylic to the bottom.
