Downloading a scan. How?

This has GOT to be a simple question....

I watched an online demo of the probe, and the guy took his card to his PC, plugged it into his card reader, then selected File/Download Scan.
I don't have "Download Scan" in my software.
How do I import my first scanned image?

Found it.
Under File/Manage Flash.

That really is a poor pulldown menu wording choice CW chose to use.

You need to activate the Pattern Editor / Probe Softwre. When you got the probe there was a registration number on the back of the CD. If you open up Designer and go to help->Mange licenses there is a choice to register an accessory.

After you have registered the probe with LHR/CarveWright, you will see a menu option under the File Menu that says: Download Scan. Just click and it will proceed to open your scan in the Pattern Editor.

I believe you, but looks like I need to register it first, as Jeff points out.
Seems odd that that's needed, before you can read from the card.
Plus, does CW document that necessity anywhere?

Apparently you can scan from the machine, but Designer won't "read" it until you've registered.

Yes you can scan to the card all you want but you need to register the key in order to unlock that part in Designer and thus use it to download the patterns. This will also unlock the Pattern Editor.
