Hi Henry,

I think most folks order them online from Otto Frei. I use the 80 grit then often followup with the 220 grit. (I've found that grits finer than 220 don't work all that well on wood.)

Here is a link to the 220 grit 3M bristle 3/4" diameter brushes:

I actually order my own discs and mandrels from McMaster because they are so close to me I get them the next day via UPS Ground.

Here is the link for their website: http://www.mcmaster.com/

You have to do a search for the part numbers (they have so much stuff, it takes forever to find it on your own!)
Yellow 80 grit 3M discs- McMaster Part # 4494A19
Red 220 grit 3M discs - McMaster Part # 4494A18

The discs mount on a 3/32" shank diameter Mandrel. (McMaster Part # 4494A44)

I got mine from a jewlery place.

http://www.contenti.com/products/abrasives/131-403.html

$9.65 for a pack of 12 3/4 inch.

I agree with Michael on the least expensive source of these disks.
For more detailed work, you might prefer the smaller disks.
At the Otto Frei site, enter "3M Radial Bristle" in the search box to get the entire selection.

I have used the 400 and pumice on some projects with very good results.
Consider buying in lots of 144, they get used-up faster than you want them to.
