Bit Sequencing

When I start the project, after board measuring, it says load bit x. After loading the bit and pushing enter it keeps telling me to load the same bit over and over. Any ideas anyone.

Do a search on the forums and you'll find a lot of info. One of the main reasons for this to happen is the bit is either not touching the bit plate and/or not touching the surface of the board. For the cutting bit it may not be touching the right hand guide rail (one furthest from the keypad).

Does the chuck move at all? Or does it just stay in the same spot. And after you push enter does the cut motor turn on briefly? Does the display give you any error messages?
