First is a plaque I made for my new sister-in-law. I made a few mistakes on this and ended up carving the text deeper to correct it. That's how we learn, right? Anyway, she loved it, that's what matters.
Secondly is a plaque I made for two friends I have from another addiction. They trade small (about 3/4") diameter coins called pathtags. They had special ones made for their marriage, so I replicated the design on a 10" diameter piece of maple. I'm happy with the way it turned out, hopefully my finishing skills will improve in the future. They will be receiving it this weekend at an event for them, I think they will like it.
