Tried to call the company but I guess nobodies getting thru for now.
I'm getting an open cover message frequently. I see no adjustment on the sensor. The door is snug on the right and has a 3/16 gap on the right. When I push down on the door the bottom line of the message "press enter to start"
may come on or may flutter on. No much I guess I can do about the sensor for now but has any body tried to reshape the door to get red of the door. If so how. How is the door "Cover" removed.

vintagecop,

I just did a search on "cover switch" and got this. (http://www.carvewright.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7982&highlight=cover+switch)

Here's photo of one of my lid switches that slipped out of adjustment.
I loosed the 2 screws a little and pushed the switch forward a little
so the nub on the lid could actuate the switch and retighten the screws -- all was well again
--- it worked for me.

ps. this switch is the cut motor switch on the right
the one you want is the cover switch on the left as you face the entrance of the machine,
on the key pad side.

Check this thread also, I have my machine apart for cleaning/Lubricating, and took a variety of pictures.
