Hi, everybody!

I've been thinking of purchasing a Compucarver from Carvewright, as it seems to be an amazing piece of machinery. The question for me is: will it work outside the USA?

I have 230V and 50Hz.

So I have just a few questions:
1. is there a switch on the Compucarver (probably in the vicinity of the power cord) that allows switching from 115V to 230V?
2. what amperage does the Compucarver take from the electric network? (In case I have to get myself a transformer 115V to 230V then I also have to take that cost into account)

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Just realized that when I say Compucarver I really use the wrong word. What I meant is either CW or CC - as far as I understand they are almost identical machines.

gcioffi is a member in Italy, I believe. You could send her a private message directly and probably get your answers.

Best of luck.

Many of your questions can be answered by visiting the CarveWright website FAQ page...here is the link...

http://www.carvewright.com/cms/faq

(It is not designed to run on 230V/50cycle)
