Hey could someone there pocket a couple sensor boards before you leave and turn out the lights.

Wanted to make sure you had some next week when I order one.

Good luck to all having to leave the area.

As the map shows we are directly in the path of Ike (Houston). I can't get to my CW as the garage is loaded with plants, pots, wood, etc in preparation for the storm. It's a shame as it looks like I will have plenty of time on my hands. Of course the unit doesn't work without electricity so I may just sit and watch the wind blow.

Carvewright is located in Pasadena, TX so they are in the path also as well as being much more prone to flooding than I am. I am sure that they will close on Friday as everything in the Houston area is shutting down...even Macy's.

While I still have power I will be reading the forum.

I remember wearing a "I LIKE IKE' button, but I won't wear it now.

Wishing you the best of luck, but I think a couple of $10.00 plants can stay outside vs. a $1800.00 machine. I'm in San Antonio and I won't lie I'm sure glad IKE turned northeast.

UPS just picked up my CarveWright machine in route to LHR, but I guess its heavy enough. The 100 MPH winds in Pasadena, TX, should not blow it too far off track, it should make it there OK.

Unfortunately UPS is closed in the Houston area today (Friday). Hopefully your unit is still in Arkansas.

How did the folks at LHR make out during and after Ike? I hope all are well.

i hope everyone made it threw ok i am a master carpenter and home repair i am thinking seriously about going to Texas to help with any rebuild since there is no work here in Florida does anyone know who i would contact

any help would be greatly appreciated

Just curious?? Who exactly assigns the title of "Master Carpenter"?
I've been working with wood since I was 9 and I'm 46 now and still learning something everyday. But God Bless you for wanting to help those in need.

I think "The Carpenters Union" assigns titles to their members.

I've been fishing for 30 years so does that make me a master baiter?

Hi all, glad to be back. No offense to anyone, I'm just foolin.

Depends on the bait and if you spit on it before using it!

I wasn't trying to be a smart%%. I've been a carpenter in Nebraska for 40 years, and they do have a Union. I'm not a member, but just stating a fact. They do give titles to their members such as apprentice, journyman and I do think they have a Masters title. I for one think you never master anything, cuz you always can learn something new.
First thing I would do is checkin or register, with the Better Business Bureau in that area.
