View Full Version : Suggestion for an improvement

It occurred to me while trying to see what was happening 'under the hood' that there could be a very do-able solution which wouldn't cost much. My stop-gap approach was to use a small LED flashlight.

Some small but bright LEDS across the top of the inside of the machine to illuminate the work area could be worked into the design without much trouble and at very small extra expense. They could easily be connected to the power supply already in the electronics package.

I think a retrofit package could be designed, too.

Whadda ya think?

Don,

Actually at Home Depot you can buy a LED rail that fits perfectly behind the front cover. I used some zip ties to keep mine in place. It works great and produces plenty of light.

Thanks for the tip.

I know I wouldn't have any trouble retrofitting LEDS into my own machine. My message, since this is CarveWright's own forum, was to suggest an improvement to the product.

Maybe someone from LHR can take the suggestion to the marketting team which, in many companies, has influence with the design team.
