Retirement Shadow Box

This took me a few hours, its made from poplar, stained with Minwax "Gunstock" color. It's for a good friend of mine who retired today. Total carve time was about 3 hours for the inlays in the box. The rest was done by me using my scroll saw. He did a good stint of his career here in Yuma AZ, Hence the shape of the shadow box itself. I wanted to make sure he got something nice after spending 30 years in the Corps.
