My son is remodeling his house, and my payment for helping is all the ash t&g paneling that came off the fam rm walls.

Think I have enough to keep me busy for a while?

You are a lucky man. I wish I had a place that I could run a machine in. But living in an apartment, I don't think my neighbors would enjoy listening to the machine run all the time. But maybe I'll get lucky one of these days.

Yeah, I'd say that you have enough to last for about two weeks. :)

Ash is nice nice nice!! My favorite wood even over cherry or walnut. I use tongue oil on ash and it works great!!! You could even use the technique of carving the pre-stained wood and painting the letters. I always use a metal detector on reclaimed wood. You never know! Looks good hope to see some nice carvings soon.
