Slide Plat Stuck

I can barely move the slide plate even using force. The Release button on the slide feels partially depressed. Any suggestions?

There may be alot of compacted saw dust that is preventing it from moving. Try blowing compressed air underneath the sandpaper belts to get rid of any debris. Once that has been done, try moving the plate again. If it doesn't move, it could possibly be jammed or damged. If that is the case, you would need to contact our support team for assistance.
