I Have done a litho and for about the first inch of the carve the depth is just a little bit deeper than the rest of the design. Does anyone have any ideas about the configuratin mode on the machine itself, I have seen it but havent used it, or is it just for carvewright tech.

Did your material stay under the rollers the whole time? Sounds like your stock was tipping...leading to snipe.

As a general rule you stock always needs to stay under the pressure rollers. There are several ways to accomplish this. See Issues #3&7 of Tips&Tricks: http://www.carvewright.com/cms/tips-and-tricks
