Hello all! How do I get ahold of someone at carvewright on the weekend to reactivate my designer software? I havent been using it for a couple months and I got an order today for a sign and can't get it to work, it brings up a screen and wants me to register and I can't get on with my old user name and the phone line has been busy for a long time. This just totally sucks as I have to get this done by midweek and I don't have much time after work this week to do it!

Did you try all lower-case for your username and password? I tried to register a little while ago because my hard drive crashed and got a fatal error.

yes I tried multiple times and it comes back with a response screen that I have received an invalid response from the server and to contact carvewright, but they are not available on the weekends. This just totally sucks as I do not have time during the week to play phone games with them and I should not have to for what I already have invested in this thing.

It would be easier to register if they didn't have a busy phone line or if they answered the phone.

I used Designer last Wed. and now it says I need to register again.

I tried to connect online and get the same error message as below.

Their phone is busy for the last hour.

If there's a general problem, could they at least post something on the forum?

What version of Designer are you two guys using? Any new hardware or software on your system?

It's version 1.3 (I think).

I tried to install a 2nd video card (Nvidia) and the drivers are clashing with the current system. But that's the only changes I've tried.

New hardware can mess up some licensing schemes. Usually they look at certain pieces of hardware in your system and then calculate a magic number based on them. So, if you change something it could screw things up. It's kind of a pain but not nearly as bas as some software. I run into a lot of different types of licensing at work, some are much worse...
