The TOP single ball holding the Flex Cable or one of the 3 Balls holding the bit holder?

I had lost my Top Hat Ball and had to order a top hat.

1 of them must have fallin of , there is only 2 in it now and want hold a bit in.
don't know where it went, lol but its lil and my eyes is old.
Had to fall out when I took bit out tp change.
