z-truck extra cable

just received z-truck replacement and during the process of disconnecting the ffc cables per the instructions i discover that my old z-truck has an additional cable that goes into the back of the z-truck to a circuitbord inside the truck head. this cable is 5 conductor. The replacement z-truck motorpack does not have connection for this cable. Can anyone help It's too late today to call lhr:

That cable is no longer used, it's for the Scanner Probe plug on the Z-truck which has been moved to the cover. You can remove that small cable.

I also have a scanner that I haven't hooked up . It has a phonoplug type end so will I need another cable for it to connect to?

Contact LHR and they should be able to send you the adapter cable.

Should have come with the new Z pac. Mine did.
