Here are 2 ladies of Guadalupe carvings the first is one before any wood treatment is applied the second still drying. Each carving took 3.5 hr and they are 17” tall.

It is mahogany, it carves beautifully, they are in the dry out phase, and after this I’ll put some clear lacquer to protect the finish. I’ll post a new pic when done
