locked text

my text is locked in one axis and it will only move in one direction. How do I unlock the other direction. OI can not find any answer on teh web site or the help menu.

Are you talking about in designer it won't move? If that is the case you have locked it into that position. Look at it and you will see two sets of numbers, I'm guessing one is green and one is yellow. The yellow one is locked in. Highlight that and change that number and you will see it move.

If you have attached one side to an edge or middle of the board simply right click on the number for that line and select remove attachment.

If you have it centered either vertically or horizontally, in the menu bar at the top the icon will have a light blue for it being on, click it to turn it off.

Right click on the number that is yellow and remove attachment.
