Bit Question

When i removed the 1/16 carving bit for cleaning, it feels loose and has approx. 1/8in. of "give" in the shaft. there doesn't appear to be anyway of hightening it. does it need to be replaced? if so, are there any alternative sources. i'm doing lithos in corian almost exclusively. bit has less than 40 hrs on it.

1. your bit adapter has dents and need replacing.

2. bit loose in bit adapter.

3. QC is bad..

The little tangs sticking out are actually set screws. You may have already known that but I thought I might mention it. Had one loosen on me and at first I thought those were machined into it. Didn't take long before I noticed they were set screws and they tightened right up. I took them loose again and put a couple drops of lock tite on them. Haven't had one loosen up since.
