I have not seen any articles regarding the safe use of the CarveWright/CompuCarve, but maybe I missed one of the threads.
I am pleased to report that other than cutting my finger trying to pull out the cutting bit (it is sharp) I have never experienced any serious problems with the lid closed. I visited LHR in Pasadena and Shane mentioned that everyone does that at least once in the repair department.
I did purchase a magnetic probe to locate and retrieve a bit that dropped into the area near the touchpad before making certain that the head was stopped in an area that was safe.
Does anyone else have some safety techniques that they can share with the forum?
