You can try picking a restore point to before your updated.

You would be restoring your computer to a time before you updated it with 130 however if you updated anything else you would also lose that.

For example, if you updated to 130 lets say on July 1st. Since then you have updated a couple drivers, cards as you say or anything else you will revert back to your settings before you accomplished those updates.

However if you dont wont to lose the updates to those items you will have to update them again.

If you restored back to July 1st you will lose whatever updates you have done to your computer since then. Then you will have to update whatever you need too again.

That is the only way I can think of. If your talking about updating your flash cards for your designs then you will have to reformat them through the card reader once you have gone back to 126.

Barry,
This worked for me. You will need to have the 1.125 and/or 1.126 install files available, hopefully you have them saved on your PC.

I'll assume you are running Windows XP or Vista. For XP, open Control Panel, then open Add/Remove programs. For Vista open Control Panel and find Programs and features.

In the program list find Carvewright System and uninstall it. In my case I had the full install file for 1.125 and the patch file to upgrade 1.125 to 1.126.

I ran the 1.125 install file thru completion, then ran the 1.126 patch. I then opened Designer and under 'Help' went to Manage Licenses and verified that all were valid.

For the card. in Designer go to File, Flash Manager. On mine, Designer saw that the card had firmware version 1.130 and asked if I wanted to change it to 1.126. I confirmed I did and it was changed. No need to reformat the card and nothing was lost.
HTH

I found that I have 4 different CW programs still installed on my computer. 1.120, 1.125, 1.126 and 1.130.

All are in the "program files" folder. I do not know if this is an unusual occurrence of installing or not. I do know that when you install a new version the update does move some files from the old to the new.

I did open each gui.exe file and they each showed what version it was.

You might look on your computer and see what you have!!
