Here are a couple pics of the carve I did for Steve Baumhover...just in time for the one year anniversary. Let's hope UPS doesn't manhandle it. It's actually two carves...the bull's skull and the picture frame group. The frame has a recessed area for the skull to fit in. Frame areas are 5X7". Steve's son, and soon his daughter, serve(d) in Iraq. One of my co-workers served in the same unit with Steve's. My son/co-worker was also in Iraq and Afghanastan. The bull and background (a clay pot) are the creation of a fellow Iowan several wars ago in the same unit. The far right photo is the original patch design. I tweaked it a little in designer.
The pictures here are on regular copy paper so the photo quality prints will add a little spark.
Steve, I hope your son enjoys it. These three photos brought tears to my eyes.
