Pattern problem

Notice on the attached project below the letters T, Y and X, there are slightly scalloped areas next to the oval.

Unfortunatly I did not notice those until after I carved the project. They are only about a 16th deep so I might get by running this through my planer and shaving that off.

But I would like to know what caused it. Any ideas?

It's caused by having feather turned on for the letters, simply turn it off and that problem is gone.

Your right. Did not realize I had feathering on for it.
