When using a wacom tablet, and trying to do a free handed drawing, do you have to select the line functions or can you just draw?

When using a wacom tablet, and trying to do a free handed drawing, do you have to select the line functions or can you just draw?

You have to select the functions you want. The tablet is just an alternative mouse for the most part. Programs such as Photoshop can take advantage of the varible pressure so that the more you press the pen into the tablet the more "paint" flows, etc.

You can also show a little more freedom from those that cant seem to draw with the mouse and still need the stylus.
