Can download .PTN patterns to the CW pattern file but the same doesn't seem to work for .MCP/.MCW files ... how do you organize the latter for quick access as in Pattern File? Anyone know where I can get detailed explanation for differences in the file types ... as in "for Dummies"? Thanks, r

.ptn files are just a pattern that you can load into favorites and access through the pattern tool.

.mpc files are the project files which contain all the info to carve a project (ie. patterns, vectors, carve regions, etc.). These can only be accessed through the load command. You cannot save these or patterns in these into pattern favorites. All you can do is copy from one project to another.

.mpw files I'm not too sure about.
