new pattern editor

opened one of my ptn with the new pattern editor..Wouldn't that look good as a lithophane

Sure would. Too bad it won't carve wood in those colors...lol

If you go into the view menu you can click on the Colorization menu item and launch the 'Colorization Dialog'. It's a non-modal dialog (it will say open until you close it, but not interfere with using PE.) This lets you adjust the color mapping and turn it on and off.

Try it on something you scanned in that should be fairly level. You can adjust the color mapping to see minute changes in height.
