I made this box for my Mother. It is 1/2" Oak with full through dovetails. The wording on the top is Swedish and says "I Vin där er Sanning" which translates to "In Wine there is truth".

She is Swedish and I like to call her a lush for the amount of wine she drinks.

Very nice box! I assume you didn't do the dovetails on the CW :)

The dovetails really make the box an eye catcher. Been wanting to do that and now I know I need to. Thanks for sharing..

No, I used the complete dovetail jig from Rockler and a 2hp Craftsman router.
