The other week I used the 90 degree bit. It just didn't want to go in, but I thourght that I had it. started the project and the bit took a dive and sparks were flying, but I stopped the machine in time and didn't have any damage except to my wood. Boy was I lucky :)

Anyway, after a better look at screws and trying to get the bit to seat, which wouldn't, I decided that the the screws must be just a bit too long, but I can't seem to get them to move one way or another. I need some advise on this one.

You may have saw dust build up in the QC, use a mirror to check. You can tell if the bit seat correctly with the mirror also.

The screws are hard to move because of the lock tight compound, you may need a vice grip to remove them, get some spare screws first. and relock them.

Heat from a hot air gun or a hair drier set on high
will help break down the Loc-Tite to loosen the set screws.

I've had success using acitone to remove set screws. I use a small glass jar with enough acitone to cover the bit/holder. Generally a soak overnite does the trick.
