Carved in very hard red oak(probably from the crotch of the tree). I did no clean-up other than a good rubbing with short bristle brass brush. Stained with Minwax Golden Pecan, 2 coats sanding sealer, rubbed American Walnut stain for a bit of contrast, 2 coats of laquer then gold leaf paint pen smoothed with a foam brush. The lithophanne is lit with a 32 light led head froom a desk lamp.

Wow Jerry! That's some awesome work! Very cool. I have GOT to try a Lithophane one of these days. Keep telling myself to but never seem to get around to it.

You're an inspiration my friend!

Jerry,

Absolutely fabulous! The entire package gets a perfect 10!!! The LEDs light up nicely! I bought some Corian from Lesley so cheap I am almost embarassed (anyone else interested in checking her prices PM me). I can't wait to try some projects with it. Keep it up and thank you for sharing your beautiful masterpiece!
