is there a way to delete the imported patterns that I will not need any longer"

If you're talking about a CW Designer .ptn file
Click on it, and an option file will come up.

If you are referring to patterns in the pattern library, the easiest and best way to manage them is to use the CCW Pattern Organizer (see link in signature below). It's FREE.

Sorry, there is not. One thought, though. If you have access to a Windows computer, you could do some maintenance on the library on the PC and then move it back to the Mac. The library file is the same on both machines.

I was one of the very first certified Mac developers, back in the 80's. I continued that until 2003, at which time it became necessary for me to change to developing Windows apps. I don't have the time necessary for writing all the other CCW utilities that I want, so going back to relearning the Mac environment is probably out of the question for me, right now.

If there are any Mac developers out there that want to collaborate, I would be willing to work with them on a Mac version. I just don't have time to take it on myself, right now.
