My Daughter asked me to do a couple more carvings today, like the ones I did back at Easter that she passed out as gifts.
I thought they might spark someone’s imagination, so I posted this photo.
I used ½” x 8” x 10” double sealed MDF, one with Black Walnut Lacquer Toner and a Clear Gloss Lacquer Top Coat to look like burnished Leather with Gold Inlay.
The other has a heavy brushed on layer of White Gesso and a touch of Golden Oak Stain to make a Stylized Faux Wood Grain Surface,
with White Acrylic Latex filling the Text and Graphic pattern.
The best part is they each carved in 2.5 minutes with only the 90 Degree CW Bit being used.http://www.free-animations.co.uk/art/images/art_33.gif
