I am trying to carve an oval frame and am getting this stepping on the x-axis, any sugestions? About .040 each cut. I checked the bottom of the sled already.

my other projects do not have this problem. But, they are not making the repetitive, end to end, passes that the oval is. I am cutting the inside edge of the oval with a 3/8 strait bit.
