I have got a file that I downloaded of a picture frame form the pattern sharing depot. There is a rabbet cut out along the back of the frame.

Do I treat this as two sepreate carvings (front and back) and carve one first and then flip the work piece over to carve the back? Which one first?

Would I download the front and back seperately?

Thanks for any help

bizbiki,

Just upload the file to your card it will have all of the information the machine needs.

Place your board in the machine with the back side up (the machine carves the back first).

After it completes the back side card the machine will stop and the LCD will tell you to flip the board over to the front side.

When you have the board reloaded just hit go and it will carve the front.

Note: Make sure you flip the board on the lenght axis and not the width axis.

Hope I helped?

David

Thanks thats what I nneded to know. By flipping the board lengthwise I am going to assume you mean end for end in the machine.

Thanks again Dave

You flip it just as Designer does. The top of the board is closest to the keypad. You flip it top to bottom, not left to right.

What Amonaug said.

Is correct it needs to rotate just like your drawing on your computer.

View it hit front then hit back and watch how it rotates.

Thats how it has to be rotated in your machine.

Sorry I was not clear enough.
